We made Osaka our home base for the second part of the trip, and decided to take the bullet train to nearby cities to explore. We traveled to Nara and Kyoto from Osaka. Sadly, I didn’t shoot much video footage in Kyoto, but I got plenty of videos of Nara, the Japanese deer city. 🙂

It only took a 5-minute walk from the Nara train station to see the pretty Japanese deer wandering the streets and calmly crossing the road in the city! Unfortunately, it was a rainy day when we arrived, but that meant that there were fewer people out and more opportunities to interact with the deer.

I also tried out an onsen in Osaka, so the second half of the video is what to expect when you go to one and my experience with having tattoos while going to a public bath house in Japan. I’m still getting comfortable talking into the camera, so please excuse all the UMs! I’m working on getting better at videos. 🙂

Any suggestions are helpful!
