Extreme Desert Village Life in Cholistan | Beautiful Mud House | Desert Culture and Routine Life



This video showing the culture and routine lifestyle of people living in cholistan desert in Pakistan. It show how they are living in extreme hot weather with water crises. Desert village life style in Pakistan is like a nomadic life style because here people of desert move from one place to other due to lack of water and food for their animals (livestock). Cholistan Desert is one of the largest and hottest deserts in the Pakistan. It locally called as Rohi. This desert spread on both sides of Border Zero Line of Pakistan and India. In Pakistan side it located in South Punjab while on India side it located in Rajasthan. There is rain water collecting ponds in Cholistan to collect water of rain. Local people uses water from these ponds to drink and other uses in house. Their animals also drink water from these ponds. This town named Basti Moj garh or Mauj garh after build a fort here called moj garh. This fort build by Muhammad Maroof Khan Kehrani in 1171. The tomb of Muhammad Maroof Khan Kehrani is situated near this fort. The land of desert is giving on rent to private people to make it green/plantable. Solar system used in this areas to meet the light requirements. People have some issues but they happy in their simple living.

    Я пишу из Якутии это в России У нас тоже экстремальные условия есть Зимой -50t а то и -60t доходит Мне было бы сложно жить в таких условиях Мне свой климат больше по душе:)
