I took the ITX (Intercity Train eXpress)-Saemaeul train, which is neither the slowest nor the fastest train in Korea.
I took the ITX-Saemaul train from Seoul to Busan at Dongdaegu Station, and the section from Miryang to Busan had a beautiful view of the Nakdong River.
I couldn’t buy snacks because the vending machine was broken, but I experienced the kindness of the KORAIL beauty attendants.
The fare from Dongdaegu Station to Busan Station is 11,100 won ($8.55).
For reference, the fare from Seoul Station to Busan Station is 42,600 won ($32.8).
