World`s second fastest elevators ( a speed of 45 km/h or 41 feet per second) were used to reach the view point which is at the height of 296.3 meters (972 feet) in just 40 seconds.
We can feel the speed of it while riding on it by our ears!
At the last floor (the 69th floor), we can see the 360 degree view of the total city including “Tokyo tower”, “Mt. Fuji” and many more …
Sun rise and sun set are best to be viewed from here.
The observatory desk gives a relaxed view of the entire city and its a nice place to chill out while planning the tour locations or spots to be visited the following days in Yokohama and Tokyo !
