► Nankinmachi is a compact chinatown in central Kobe, established in 1868, and the center of the Chinese community in the Kansai Region, and although much smaller than its counterpart in Yokohama, this one is much better in every way – better food, service much friendlier, compared to the often rude staff in Yokohama Chinatown.
If you like good Chinese food, there’s no better place to go than here, no matter if your dish of choice is Peking Duck, Char Sui or Dim Sum or perhaps a little bit of everything.
If you are traveling to Kobe or Osaka, don’t miss out on this vibrant little food Oasis in the heart of Kobe – only 35 minutes by express train from Osaka. – Enjoy!
