I traveled around Japan inexpensively by making good use of ferries.
This time I upload a 21 hour ferry trip from Shinmoji to Yokosuka.
Shinmoji is 1.5 hours by train and bus from Hakata, a major city in the Kyushu region. The destination, Yokosuka, is an hour by train from Tokyo.
This ferry arrives at Yokosuka at 8:45pm, but there are plenty of trains running, so it’s very convenient to get to Tokyo on the same day.
How about using a comfortable Japanese ferry and enjoying an original trip while keeping travel costs down ?
