    Funny, but Samui is my least favorite island in Thailand. Ko Rok is my favorite. Love your videos, they bring back a lot of memories. Except for some provinces in Isan, I"ve also visited the whole country since I arrived in 2003.

    I arrived on Ko Samui 3 weeks after the Tsunami from Ko Lanta via one week in Ao Nang. I hated Samui that much I left the next day and went to Ko Pangnan and Ko Tao best thing I ever done. Samui is full of package holiday tourists and Mc Donalds. Just go to Magaluf and save your self the money on the flight. How can you say Samui is better than Lipe?

    Ähnlicher Plan : Kradan, Muk, Libong und Lipe. Alle Himmelsrichtungen durfte ich schon besuchen, Inselhopping, kenne kein Land, dass sonst noch soviele Inseln touristisch besuchbar anbietet. Die Menschen sind so nett und passen auf , dass jeder richtig ankommt, freies Reisen ist so entspannt in Thailand. Ich liebe es und werde so lange es geht für FREIHEIT und Mobilität der Menschen plädieren.
    Reisen schafft FRIEDEN, denn das kennenlernen anderer Länder und Kulturen macht wirklich offen und empathisch, dankbar bin ich auch für angebotene Hilfe, Nettigkeit und sogar Freundschaft.

    Can I just ask which island you would skip if you only had two weeks and which one you definitely should visit. We are 1,5/2 days in Bangkok and than 3 days in Chiang mai from there we are traveling to the south with one week left..

    Koh Phi Phi is now so over-commercialised that, while the water looks beautifully clear, it has high levels of human faecal matter in it. The sewage system on Phi Phi just can't cope with the number of resorts and tourists. So Enjoy the view of the water from the beach. Don't go snorkelling or you may well end-up in the hospital on the island as you'll have hives on your body and you could be violently sick.

    I visit Ko Phi Phi 33 years ago, only 2 set of bungalows on the island.
    I stayed at Phi Phi Charlie, l bar…
    No electricity
    We got a fishing boat to the island

    In Romanized Thai, the "A" is pronounced as in father. Chang is not pronounced as ang. The 'A' makes it ((Chawng))
    In Thai, the Grammor is backward to English as Kho (Island) and Chang (Elephant) comes out as Elephant Island.
    There is a cheaper strong beer made in Thailand called Chang…remember the A is pronounced as in father making it (((CHAWNG))).
    ..I've spent years there and travelled the country extensively..I'm happily married to a Thai Citizen for 18 years now..
