One of the experiences in Hokkaido worth noting that I am quite fond of is the Horse Riding by the Pacific Ocean offered by the Niikappu Horse Riding facility (@horoshiri).
The gentle stroll by the coastline and being able to ride the horse without any aids was thrilling especially when you’re able to get that sense of independence from riding these animals.
It was easier than I thought though, I did hear that it takes years of trust for the horse to develop its confidence with the rider so I’m grateful that my horse was able to provide me with this experience.
Whenever you’re in Hokkaido and want a gentle breeze whilst looking at the sunset by the ocean, none is as thrilling and fantastic as it is to do it on horseback.
