A very short clip of Kakegawa Castle in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan. The castle was originally built between 1469 and 1487 though later destroyed by earthquake in the 1800s. It was only recently rebuilt in 1994 and is now listed #42 on the Japan Castle Foundation’s list of 100 Fine Castles of Japan. It is open to the public, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to visit it because I was running the Kakegawa Marathon!
