Cherry blossoms in Taiwan are almost as spectacular as in Japan and Korea. The first blooms appear on the island as early as late January. The Cherry blossom trees turn pink in Northern Taiwan. Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall is one of the most popular places to enjoy the cherry blossoms.
