Your only bad decision was McDonalds for breakfast
Great video with exciting story telling π
Sorry, still looking for the part where your trip went HORRIBLY WRONG caps lock click bait? You as a tourist went to a tourist site and were surprised when other tourists were there?
Uh… so the trip didn't go horribly wrong if you still got great footage!
Amazing to see this perspective of it. My Japan trip is coming up in a few weeks and I can't wait to shoot it all (with the tips I've learned from your channel of course, which thank you). I imagine the sakura season will be quite the similar experience, trying to catch the full bloom, deal with crowds, etc. Your vid gets me excited and anxious (in a good way) at the same time hahaha looking forward to the rest of the series.
really great story telling bro ! awesome photos ! really inspired me to make more good content everyday
In early November I was seeing great autumn leaves NORTH of Tokyo, in Aizuwakamatsu, which is opposite of what you did.
Also, I think you need different people to ask about hills. Victor keeps climbing Mt Fuji FROM THE SEA like it was nothing. On the other hand, that hill to Kiyomizudera isn't that big a deal. Nice pictures, by the way.
That's awesome really beautiful.
Love the video. Definitely one of my photo destinations for later.
Thanks for your efforts! I love watching your videos mate π
That shot was totally worth it
There are many beautiful places in Japan. I heard that Taiwanese check travel guides in Japanese. Come back soon.
Crepes, oolong and lemonade – well done!
Fantastic video! Loved the story telling here π. Might be your best video yet!
Tip for the next trip to Kiyomizudera. Wait till near closing time to get some awesome night shots. The crowds get pushed out and you can hop right in at the end to get a good position. The monks let us and other photographers stay about 15 mins past closing. The grounds are lit up and the lights from the city make for an amazing shot.
When something so Vong feels so right.
That was one awesome video π―π΅π Great story and great visuals π So well done π Keep going π
Loved seeing the true experience, still got awesome shots! Great stuff π
Glad things worked out in the end! Very informative for planning such a trip
Loving these videos! Happy the hike paid off with some spectacular images!
Are you wearing a goPro on your jumper Jason?
HAHAHA the bum steer was not cool, but loved hearing about the adventure! so epic!
Thanks for the epic travel log! Jason, I love your sense of humor! Getting up at 5 am… The things you two do for your audience! Lol!

Was cool meeting you guys at Kiyomizu dera! And I made it into the video β€ wuhu π 12:42
You got your happy ending! π
Great series! Looking forward to moreβlots more.
Dude Iβm in Tokyo this week! We should get together. I can film your behind the scenes.
Did that Taxi door close itself? π²
Same experience at 2004… At that time I was not a photographer!
So glad that it all worked out for you!!! ππππππ Totally understand the frustration and the crowd is always the most uncontrollable and unmanageable element in travel photoshoot π₯²π₯²π₯²π₯²
I had an awesome time in Kyoto this past fall, it was a long rainy day, that did not stop me, near 5pm i was out with my trusty A7IV… Ohh water proof seal dont fail me now.. loved every second of it. I truly love Japan
This is great guys! Truly entertaining ππ»

Great job on the video you two! Thanks for making it.
Lol Vong said Bussy
Great story telling thruout this vlog! It was very entertaining and gives great ideas for places to visit in Japan! I went last year from Mid October to Late November and at Nikko National park you could also see the leaves starting to turn bright red! As a Michigan native we get all the colors here too but it was a sight to see in Japan!
absolutely epic! motivation and inspiration for my channel!
This was SO cool! I love the story telling aspect with the sprinkles of nerdy camera stuff. A wonderful start to a series!
those kids' caps look like the shinsengumi officer caps from rurouni kenshen LOL
NARUTOOOOO!
Enjoying the videos. You're portraying real life! (And the crepes looked good too….)
Thanks again Jason for very entertaining video, keep up the excellent work!
Thank you Jason & Vivienne for sharing adventure and experience in Japan. π»π»
