Want to know what to expect on a Phi Phi island day tour? We visited the amazing Koh Phi Phi Islands and its beautiful destinations including Maya Bay, Phileh Cove, Nui Bay, Monkey Beach, and more! They call Thailand the “Land of Smiles”…today was filled with smiles all-around!

If you’re ever in South Thailand, we recommend going to Koh Phi Phi Islands. Everything was breath taking – it was unreal!! Here’s the list of places we visited and a bit more about them. Koh Phi Phi Islands consists of 6 islands, some points of interest include:
Monkey Beach: you can see the monkeys playing around, climbing the cliffs! Of course, they are a bit naughty 😉
Phi Le Lagoon: we canoed into the lagoon and saw the most amazing blue waters
Viking Cave: no longer open but famous for the families that live there off harvesting special bird’s nests that are in high demand on the Asian market for healing purposes.
Maya Bay: The movie The Beach was filmed here starring Leonardo Dicaprio
Loh Lana or Nui Bay: we actually stopped here to snorkel for a bit, it has beautiful coves & reefs!

    Welcome to the Phi Phi Islands 🌴. We have wanted to come here for such a long time and we weren’t disappointed. Our tour with Phi Phi Neverland was the best and totally recommended when visiting the Phi Phi Islands. What did you think of the tour and would you go on it?

    In 1995, went to Koh Phi Phi and snorkelled in Maya bay for the first time. Been back about 15 times since. It's absolutely ruined by Thai marine mismanagement (corruption) and cheap tourists trashing the place. Last time I was there, I was hospitalised for 2 days after snorkelling. The doctor at the clinic said the waters surrounding the islands were over-polluted with human fecal matter. Basically, you're swimming in S#!t.

    wow, you guys traveled cheap. why not rent a personal boat and hit up all the islands only 14000 per day. Watching this makes me feel sad that so many cheap EU t rash run around making a mess of thailand

    7. Lounge in Seven Commandos Beach , the 320 meters long Seven Commandos Beach is said to have been named after seven soldiers who were stranded here during World War II.

    8. See the View from Matinloc Shrine, specifically the Shrine of Our Lady of Matinloc, there is also a mini museum on the Islands.

    9. Lie on the Sandbar of Snake Islands, is a popular attraction included in a Cave Exploration Private Tour.

    10. Catch the Sunset of Las Cabanas Beach, located at 10 minutes away from El Nido Town Proper. The beach is bar with several bars and restaurants.

    11. Climb the Taraw Cliffs, is the prominent site of the town proper.

    How to go to El Nido, Palawan ? Just take a direct daily flight from Manila, Cebu or Iloilo going to Puerto Princesa Airport in Puerto Princesa City, the capital of Palawan Province , then take a ride on van, bus etc going to El Nido, Palawan. But before you explore El Nido, Palawan, I suggest you must visit first Underground River in Puerto Princesa City, it is the New Seven Wonders of the World and also Bakers Hill in Puerto Princesa City.

    This was one if favourite place when back packing in the 80s..now it looks totally ruined….so much for uncontrolled development..
