The last time we were in Senganen gardens, it was flushed with Cherry blossoms in March (for our daughter’s birthday). This time, we went in the beginning of the year because for the first 3 days in January, persons wearing kimonos enter for free and we wanted to see lovely kimonos. It is becoming quite rare to see regular persons walking in kimonos. But, of course, I can understand why.

Hope you enjoyed this video and found it somewhat helpful. We also got to visit the museum next door called Shoko shuseikan museum. But filming is strictly prohibited.
