I headed for Higashi-Hennazaki, located on the southeastern tip of Miyako Island.
This is a free parking lot.
As an entrance fee, I paid 300 yen per person here.
After paying the entrance fee, I moved on.
This is Mamuya’s tomb.
A beautiful woman named Mamuya falls in love with a married man.
However, when Mamuya learned that the man had changed his mind, she threw herself off the Higashi-Hennazaki Cliff.
At some point, this megalith became known as Mamuya’s tomb to mourn for Mamuya’s spirit.
Observation deck.
In front of me was a wide expanse of sea.
White birds were flying around the strangely shaped rocks.
I came close to the lighthouse.
This is the entrance to the lighthouse.
I paid 300 yen and climbed the lighthouse.
I went up the spiral staircase.
50 steps left. My feet are starting to hurt.
20 steps left. I’m getting short of breath.
It’s almost time.
I finally made it to the top.
Great view. Blue sea as far as the eye can see.
I could see the path I had walked.
I got off the lighthouse and went further.
Below the cliffs was a clear ocean.
I saw something blue in the water.
They were fish.
To my surprise, I could see fish in the sea from the top of the cliff.
The rocks in the water had large depressions here and there, and the water around them looked emerald green.
I have come to the tip of the cape.
In front of me, the beautiful blue sea stretched out endlessly.
