I took a trip around Tohoku region during the New Year. One of the stops was at Yamadera temple town. Despite the snow-covered town and temples being breathtaking, I couldn’t climb the mountain due to the late hour. I had to hurry to catch the train to Sendai, my next destination.
No cats were found 😿

Amazing landscape views – the scenic snowy mountains, the river and sounds of flowing water, steps in the snow – and the silence, it feels healing 🤗. Cute details too – for example the little cave for one, but luxury, running water available💦 😹! And the interesting lovely lonely child figure at the crossing 😢🥰 …. enjoyed every moment ❄💙⛄❄ !!
Beautiful walk, thank you.💚🙏🏻👍🏻
Thank you yet again.
Yet another magical video, thank you Rambalac! Is this the same location from a few months ago with the temple with the long and steep climb in autumn? It was thanks to that video that I put this location on my map. I hope to visit it this year! Greetings from Mexico.
Beautiful place with the snow. I line very much your logo😂
I love the texture of the snow in Yamadera.
Do you have the deadband of your gimbal set to high?

Hi everyone. I just want to give my honest opinion. It’s not being meant in a negative way.
That being said, I always watched your videos and was more or less obsessed with Japan. And I decided to make a trip to Japan, last month.
Unfortunately I was very shocked.
I landed in Tokyo, and noticed the friendliness of the Japanese felt much more like two other things, being 1. Controlling (especially from officials). At the airport there were like 50 people telling us where to walk, where to stand etc. There was this family behind me and they decided to take a look at their map or phone or something, and immediately there were like 4 airport officials raising their voices saying “no no no, you cannot stand still there! Please walk along.” When it was not busy at all. Then they took everyones fingerprints and photo on the airport, which I mean I don’t care, but it surprised me so much.
Then on the subway same thing more or less. This friendly lady asking everyone their ticket and if you were not seated in the right chart she would ask you to move. With an almost completely empty subway.
and 2. Robotlike behavior. The friendliness didn’t feel real, genuine, at all.
I went back after my holiday very disappointed. Which doesn’t mean I didn’t meet nice people. I did, a lot of them. But I am a very sensitive person and I didn’t get the feeling the people in Japan are happy at all.
I am so sorry but this is my experience. I also went to South Korea the same journey and lots of it was the same.
