Congratulations on the completion of your accommodation! That's wonderful news. I will be in Takayama soon and am so exited so experience the city, thanks to your videos. Keep up the great work!!
Great to see you back Yusuke-san! That's great news about your rentals. We'll have to come back soon and try them out. Also, I want an archery rematch! I won't let you win again so easily ๐. Take care.
Welcome back Yusuke san! Your videos were of great help when we visited Takayama last May. We even saw you there while you were about to leave with your car. Keep up the great work!
We own a few vacation rentals as well, and I totally feel your pain when it comes to renovations. Construction takes a ton of money, but sometimes we forget how much it costs to furnish a new property. Congrats on getting through that! Although we already did our Japan trip since your last post, we will definitely put Takayama on the list for a future trip!
Welcome back! We had a great time in Takayama last December because of one of your older videos. Looking forward to learning more about this area so that I can explore more on my next visit! Thank you for focussing on more rural Japan.
Nasu-san, it is great to see you back in YouTube. Are you standing on the grounds of Higashiyama Hakusan shrine? I was there on May 20 last month on my second visit to Takayama. This time I was able to spend a very serene 5 hours at the teramachi and finishing off my tour with a nice cup of coffee at Ichii cafe. I had soba for dinner at the restaurant in front of Relax Hostel and the owner was so happy to know that this is my second visit. This small mountain city has displaced Kyoto and Sapporo in my heart. I'll come again for a third visit and hope to stay in your accomodation this time.
I really have to say, that your videos were wonderful when we planned our Japan trip this past March-April! I am really excited for you in your new journey and look forward to more videos! ๐
Hi Yusuke, I just started watching your videos and really appreciate a lot of the information provided for Takayama. One of my biggest worries is that I cannot eat beef and pork, and choosing to opt for vegetarian food during my stay in Japan (I'm admittedly a bit fussy when it comes to seafood). Are there vegetarian-option/vegan-option restaurants you could recommend – either in Takayama or Kyoto (I will be visiting those places in March 2020, as well as Tokyo, Nara, Hiroshima and Osaka)? Are there any particular food/dishes you would recommend that do not contain meat, and which you could get in convenience stores?
