  1. I actually appreciate your dining reviews!! I am a foodie too and I have given Morimoto four chances in the past and the entire experience was terrible. Watching this and your review actually makes me want to give them another try. So thank you for doing this.

  2. That rice bowl dish looks so delicious! The crispy rice at the bottom of those stone bowls is always the best part.

  3. I have never eaten here before, looks delicious. Thanks for sharing, just might need to check this place out. 👍

  4. What a beautiful place this is. Love the chandelier and using the style of a sea creature. The food looked delicious. I like ginger but, not so much into wasabi. The donuts looked interesting.

  5. Great video my mom and I watched this together we went there this past April for my first time and my mom had been before and we got the orange chicken, pot stickers, shumai and the crispy shrimp and it was very good for dinner. My mom and I learned new information that you shared about the ceiling and the lights.❤😋

  6. Sorry, after that hepatitis A break out a few years ago linked to that restaurant; we will never be able to eat there again.

  7. OK, I'm now changing my lunch plans that I have reserved. I have to try that rice and tuna bowl.

  8. You know, as soon as you said 'this used to be part of Pleasure Island' my mind snapped back to deeply-buried memories of walking through DS in its original form as Pleasure Island and seeing that building as it once was! We absolutely love the aesthetic of the overlay, though, especially after dark. Saki can be pretty intense, props to you for holding your liquor! 😁 I think it's safe to say that Morimoto remains towards the top of our 'need to try' list! Great video, as always. Thanks for sharing!

  9. I've never eaten there but your videos always make me want to try it. Thanks for the video.

  10. When you said “umami flavor” all I could think of was the scene from PARKS AND REC – “don’t be so pretentious Kyle!” 😂

  11. I love your restaurant-vlogs so, so much! Thanks for sharing! Send you a million ton of love and appriciation!

  12. Great video Jackie!! That’s a beautiful restaurant. I love the architecture of it!! it looks so pretty inside!! Love the chandeliers they are so pretty!! I’m not a sushi person, but the fried rice looked really good and the churro dessert looked really good!! Such a big restaurant!! 😊😊

  13. This is the best review and overview of Morinoto Asia that I've seen. What an elegant restaurant and the food looks phenomenal. Making a reservation tonight

  14. It is so much fun going to lunch/dinner with you….great restaurant, and smart to have many Asian cuisines instead of focusing on one type…and your kinda limited how much you can eat all at one sitting…as always a great review, we love your vlog…thanks

  15. I have eaten here once, and it was delicious. I love those hanging bead chandeliers, they look so elegant. Honestly, I thought that was a QR code. 😂 i’m not big on sake, so I know I wouldn’t have tried that, but what a letdown about the churro donuts. I love a good churro.

  16. To be honest Morimoto has never been on my ‘want’ to dine list, it is on my husband’s. But after this review I would love to try it, at least once. Thanks Jackie! ❤️

  17. Going there for my birthday. I met my husband there. I know who meets their husband at Mannequins dance club? I love the chandeliers!!!!!
