  1. Always love the work you do in Asia, but I would be happy with you just covering and re-covering Taiwan! That being said, when was the last time you were in Vietnam? Not sure if I recall. Maybe throw in some from Cambodia and Laos too!

  2. Fun Fact, in Java island alone we have varieties of Serabi, Javanese style (the one you ate), Sundanese or Bandung Style called Surabi you eat it with a sweet dipping sauce made from palm sugar and jackfruit or durian, and Cirebonese style when it is more to the savory side and usually eat with fried tempe… have a nice trip Luke!

  3. My Boy… You are starting to get thick… No wonder by all those deliciousness the world offers you… Hehehe… No fight… Just watch out… ๐Ÿฅฐ

  4. 6:37 A side note: Daun singkong is probably better translated as cassava leaves than potato leaves. It's one of those versatile vegetables that you can put in many different spice and sauces because it cleanse the palette. And unlike pepaya leaves you don't have to do extra work to not make it bitter XD. Second favourite vegetable next to pak choy.

  5. Lumayan bersih ya pasar di Solo. Pengen banget surabaya pasarnya kek gini

  8. Dawet is the name of the drink, while cendol is the name of one of the ingredients, the green jelly. Yes, Central Java and Yogyakarta are infamous for their overtly sweet food ๐Ÿ˜…
