Early 90s
Oh wow, that’s right, the famous K-Med is back on the channel
In this installment, The K heads down to the Sydney Tramways Museum at Loftus for a early 90s look at the new museum site.
Starting at the Royal National Park station, he goes for a cab ride to the museum, before a brief look around and then travelling up to the Sutherland Terminus.
A number of former Sydney, and one Melbourne, trams are seen in the footage. As is the legendary John Auer.
BONUSES:
1) A W set arriving, and subsequently departing, Sutherland station. A couple of fans are seen. Including the late Charlie Lewis.
2) Some notable railfans of the era are seen on a red set.
3) Audley Weir.
