They put WHAT in the fuel?! We talk earthrounding flights with another youngest pilot to fly solo around the world. If you want to try it, Jack recommends a ferry tank. I might recommend avoiding Abu Dhabi. Watch the extended discussion: https://patreon.com/mattguthmiller

I’ve been flying since I was 16 and at age 19 flew around the world by myself in the same 1981 A36 Beechcraft Bonanza I still fly, becoming the youngest person ever to solo circumnavigate by aircraft.
Now, I’m sharing all kinds of aviation adventures with YOU! Ride along as we explore the world from the air and get a close up look at some of aviation’s best flight experiences and destinations.

Hit me up if you want to ride the TBM910
Two gay bois wearing pink 🤣
Thank you for sharing.
The stories of rich kids always amaze me.
@matt guthmiller next time your in KROC let me know I work at the flight school and for USAirports ! how do you afford all the fees at all these airports ?
Hi Matt, I enjoyed immensely this new video of yours! It's an area of Florida that I know "by heart", Tampa-St. Pete and vicinity, when I fly from Caracas to FXE and stay for a period of time in the good ol' US! By the way, both your experiences, your's and your guest's, should be published for the rest of us flyers to read about. It's not common at all that two very young men accomplish around-the-world-flying as you both did, each one on its own! Consider this, please. It would be extremely enlightening and motivating. Keep up your videos. Take care, friend! 👍
0:09 – reimagined C152!!!
Sadly Miegs field was demolished……
I've been to Albert Whitted like 12 times during my IFR Hour Building👌🏼😂 Definitely one of the best Airports in Florida 😍
Question, I've seen you do this in most of your videos, why do you put the nose down on take off and come out with more speed vs climbing out at best rate?
I was 17 years old when i had my solo flight. It was fighter jet L-29. I was studying for military pilot.
when you were in training to get your private license, about how many days a week would you fly?

Just curious, how old are you, Matt?
I used to do touch and go's at Albert Whitted! I also eat at The Hanger all the time!! Huge fan of your videos, keep it up!
Sorry you lost your title Matt. You've been replaced by Mason Andrews. He took a lot longer than you to complete it though.
I love that place! Great food!
Nice to see you again Jack, it has been a while since I spoke with you in OSH in 2013 after you'd finished your flight.
What is Jack's last name?
Hi, Matt. From one aviator to another, congratulations to you and all of your accomplishments thus far. What you are doing is very inspiring to not only me but to others and future generations. Thank you for following your dreams and hope to one day meet you. Barrington Irving was one of my former classmates at Florida Memorial University, which is where he graduated from. As was already stated, he’s originally from Jamaica but was raised in the inner city of Miami, FL. It was spring 2007 when he came to speak at one of my classes about his attempt to fly solo around the world. When he successfully accomplished that feat and touched back down at Opa-Locka Executive, he was the youngest person and first African American to do so. He was actually 23 years old.
Matt great video as always. I’m curious, how many hours a year do you log?
What kind of airplane did Jack take on his trip?
decent video. 🙂
Nice video! I think I saw my house when you flew into KSRQ
Hey. Love the videos! I am a new pilot at the age of 16 and wondering if I should start a YouTube channel for it.
What is your job to be able to afford flying so much?
Matt: Check out today's Manchester NH Uniion Leader about a planes landing issues in Alton, NH
Never knew Sam Darnold was a pilot.
How did you do the subtitles? Are they machine-generated or manually annotated? The radio transcriptions are so accurate!
Great pictures. Can you tell me the cameras and editing software you use?
Hello Mat I saw on your website that the hats are finished, how can I buy them? Thanks I follow you from Italy, and this channel is fantastic…
You’re a bold pilot, but not yet an old pilot… watch out!
I fly in to TPA a lot which is cool but there a lot of airports clustered together. and you guys may recall that a USAF C-17 once landed at Albert Whitted by mistake and an airliner once landed at McDill AFB by mistake. Realizing his mistake the desperate airline pilot supposedly took off again and landed at TPA…he did not get away with it.
You guys should do a trip around the world together and vlog it?
Definitely running a nice landing light
Where was the last airport that you Land?
As a pilot who has spent 13 years making hour long flights within 50 miles of home, I can’t help but envy pilots who have the desire to fly great distances to unfamiliar destinations with comfort and ease. My biggest hangup by far as a pilot is my discomfort with leaving my own back yard. 😕
A curious thing I noticed about three of the small plane circumnavigations I've watched videos about (Yours, Jack's, and Louis/JP's) is that you all did it west to east. Why is that? Does it have to be this direction and not the other?
Matt, I love your videos! Next time you're in St. Petersburg Albert Witted let me know!
You might want to mute the radio traffic when your guest is trying to answer your question. Having the radio traffic trash his response serves no one.
@matt guthmiller you should have informed atc that they had 2 former solo navigator pilots aboard your plane it would have been so cool to hear their reaction
What’s up😇
Matt, when are you going to write a book about your experience? It would inspire a lot of people to hear how you planned the trip, the obstacles you had to overcome, and what it was like to actually do it.
Love all your vids, Matt
Amazing to see "👎"
Who's jealous ? 🤣
Matt is always eating the best food lol
Matt's favorite saying, "Let's go grab a bite to eat"
Hello Matt, thanks for the great videos. Could you please tell me how to locate a private pilot in Europe? I want to travel safely with my two dogs to an Asian country. 🙏😊
Really love this video, especially since you probably flew right over my house which is just off the end of runway 32 at SRQ
Every video from Matt includes a picture of his food!
😊😎 it’s a definite requirement for a great ‘…7 hotel papa’ video 😂
