Seems like an interesting not so known car, and are relatively cheap and all have low miles. Heard the motors are absolute dogs though, but would be interesting to maybe swap with an Evo motor?

Looks like an off brand supra, and I do like it

Ever since Forza 2 I’ve had a soft spot for them. If you’re in the US, it really doesn’t make since to import them imo though

oh wow very nice, ive never seen this car before, is it fwd?

Well that ones probably the best looking one I’ve ever seen. I always thought they were kinda like Mitsubishis supra (styling wise) but front wheel drive was always a disappointment for young me on Gran turismo.

Great looking car. Slow though, and the power drives the wrong wheels.

One of the best on the original gran tourismo.

In the UK they are quite affordable, you can get them for less than £3000 (around $3600 US).
I know a guy who has one, good points is they look great in real life and the interior is cool as well. Drive nice as well.
Bad points, they are a mid-90s Japanese car and they rust badly. Parts are now getting hard to find and expensive. They have a clever tiptonic gearbox but if that fails it can be very expensive to fix. Most owners replace the ATF every year to be careful.
Almost all in the UK are Japanese imports, but they imported 151 officially in 2000/2001 as Ralliart cars. These tend to be worth a lot more, have seem some low mileage ones advertised for nearly £10000.

I just cant get behind FWD, i do love integras though and old civic hatches but ya idk. I’m actually starting to like the eclipse gsx though Now that I know its Awd with a 50:50 ratio. I had no idea they made that. Wasnt ever a huge Mitsubishi guy except for the starion

GTOs are technically better but FTOs are cheaper

Always loved the looks, should’ve been RWD

Years ago I had a ’94 GR tiptronic and loved her with all my heart. Compact, reasonably economical, sounds amazing, sticks to the road like shit to a blanket and weighs as much as a tea tray.
They’re also, for a Japanese car from the ’90s, quite timeless in their styling. Particularly when de-spoilered they almost look like a minature Aston Martin DB series.
But, I owned it in the UK, where you can drive it on the correct side of the road and the car was offered through official Mitsubishi dealers as an offical import (though mine was a grey market import). Even then getting parts for it and finding mechanics to take on jobs was a trial. I lived in a major urban centre and there was exactly one Mitsubishi specialist who’d do the cam belt and water pump.
Yeah, they’re front wheel drive. Most of them are automatic/tiptronic too. But they’re great fun and reliable. At least mine was, but I’m fussy about cars. I bought one that had a stack of paperwork and that had not, other than some cosmetic changes like the removal of the spoiler, larger 17″ rims off a 2nd gen 3000GT and some sounds had not been fucked with. My understanding is that the engines do **not** like being messed with. Regular maintence is vital too. These are old cars now, I wouldn’t touch one without service records if I were you.
The fast one is the GPX with the MIVEC engine, but the GR is no slouch. I’d avoid the GS with the 1.8L four pot – they’re not nearly as powerful and you don’t get that glorious high revving V6 sound.
Find a good one and have fun thowing your Japanese rollerskate into every corner you can find.
