What’s going on guys and welcome back to the channel! When I was a kid I was OBSESSED with Magic Mountain, and I mean obsessed. I spent hours researching the rides there every day and even recreated the ENTIRE park in RCT3 before advancing to programs like NoLimits2 and Planet Coaster. That said, my obsession only grew as I went, and one day I attempted a now defunct ride that at the time, I had no idea would go down as one of the most infamous attractions of all time. Though I do have the odd opinion of actually enjoying said ride, maybe because I was smaller at the time, my fascination peaked again with it this week, and I wanted to know more about its model type and how it came to be. So with that said, I think you’ll actually find this video pretty informative and entertaining. So what is it? And where did it come from? This is the story, of Intamin Amusement Rides’ 4th dimensional roller coaster, Zac Spin! 💥🎢

Nice dude
I'm one of very few that actually enjoyed Green lantern…..
What about Nigeria The mega coster looks fire thare
thats why hes the goat.. the goat
It should have gone to Michigan's adventure put it next to Zack zoomer and name it Zack's Spin. Also why the hell did they even buy a zakspin when they had x2 which was a much larger and better version.
I've been on Insane at Gröna Lund andyes it is rough and painful, but I still enjoyed it. I rode it in 2019 so it had had a few years on its back but I honestly came out fine and rode it multiple times that day.
It’s funny that the prototype version in the video actually had a launch like in rct3
Green lantern is one of my all time favorite coasters believe it or not. And I’ve been on hundreds of coasters. It was the most intense, craziest, stomach dropping ride ever. Nobody could ride that thing and keep a straight face or get into the brakes without thinking “holy crap”. Yes it was painful, but it didn’t bother me. I was always dying laughing on it. May it rest in peace.
The muzzIe….Why?
Looks a lot like Tumbili at Kings Dominion, which coaster has the dubious distinction of being far more interesting to look at than to ride. Everything in the park was basically a walk-on but this and Flight of Fear (which is a great deal of fun), and one ride was enough for us. 45 minutes for 30 seconds of ride time. Why endure that when we could ride I-305 or Twisted Timbers again and again and again in that same amount of time?
I had to slam my neck into the restraint in order to avoid extreme pain, and I remember having a red mark on my neck lolol
Inferno is operating 🙂 rode it a few years back. Its not too bad
I rode Green Lantern and hated it.
I thought you were also going to talk about the LSM on the prototype
I have ridden the Kirnu, and I got to say this. It isn't the longest and most thrilling but it is awesome the track is smooth and the moment when u slam into brakes with head streight down into the ground is absolutely amazing. The first drop is actually good in the back row because you don't know when it drops.
We rode "Batman: The ride" at Six Flags Fiesta in San Antonio, TX. Got to ride it in 2020, during covid time, so not many people in the park, yay for us! Not gonna lie, it was a bit painful, but definitely different than any other coaster i have ridden before. Had no idea which direction i was facing through the whole ride.
Prior to covid, PNE Playland was planning a massive expansion. The 2016 early concept proposal had a Zac Spin as a part of its plan, and then a 2020 scale model clearly featured a 25m Zac Spin. While the park expansion is still coming, it appears the original plans have pretty much been scrapped. But it's fun to think about how Canada nearly got their own Zac Spin.
Inferno still operating now a days. I have always like It very much (the only complain about It would be the duration of the cicle) so its weird to me to hear the people complaining about the modelo that much.
Green lantern was the worst roller coast I have ever been on
It was really only Green Lantern that was awful lol
Rode Green Lantern at Magic Mountain, hated it!
2:01 Sad That There's No Footage Of It Operating.
Would Have Loved To See The How It Looks With The Launch.
