  1. Shame about the conveyor belt sushi scandal. Those are always so fun to eat at! Hopefully they can figure out a new way to avoid people ruining things. 🗻

  2. Jerks looking for YouTube/TicTalk Fame. They think funny but most are offended if similar happens to them. Embarrassed if they get caught or outed. The long term damage of these type of actions doesn't occur till later and for some never.🗻

  3. These people should be arrested and brought infront of a court.Even better the sushi companys should sue the people in question🗻

  4. Criminal offense. My guy, they just opened Japan after a long closure due to Covid 19!!!. Now doing this??!, truly terrible. We actually went through this not too long ago in America. People opening drinks and spitting on them or licking them then putting it back on the shelve

  5. I certainly brings light to something that can happen, it's a shame Japanese companies have lost money , really bad as far as respecting Japan, reminds me of a hooligan who made trouble in Japan years ago , not good these people need to grow up and show some respect

  6. Similar to the incident involving licking the ice cream inside the tub and putting it back in the store freezer just to gain attention documenting them. Tampering consumer products can get you convicted and face prison.
Also like other stupid stunts such as eating Tide Pods and climbing on stacked milk crates.

  7. That's disgusting (sushi terrorism). Prosecute anyone found guilty.

  8. Several years ago pre-covid there were similar social media videos of a few disgusting people at Wal-mart in America. They opened Ice Cream tubs, licked them and put them back in the freezer case.

  9. 🗻 Thanks for this very informative video Nathan! I think conveyer belt sushi should come with a lid on.

  10. When you think about it if someone is crazy enough they could basically poison the sushi in conveyor belts which is kinda scary

  11. I'm about to go to Japan and I was looking forward to conveyor belt sushi, but not now. Maybe if there are cameras.

  12. In the state of New York we have a law called “tampering with consumer products”. In the first degree it is a class E felony and punishable up to four years in prison. In the second degree it is a class A misdemeanor and is punishable with up to a year in prison with a possible 3 year’s probation. It’s a very serious offense and can cause physical harm to people even if unintentional. However, on a lighter note I don’t think this would stop me from going out to eat at places. People are gross any where you go, and have disgusting habits. You’re rolling the dice any time you go out in ANY country. So, I would just do the gut check if something feels off about a place just leave. Most places in Japan are very clean and follow very strict health codes. This isn’t so much the case in the US especially here in New York. I’ve also eaten food that I had no idea what it was deep in the mountains of mainland China and lived to tell about it so…. Yeah.🗻
