Let’s take a farewell rainy day walk at Tanglin Halt. Many things have changed since we walked here in 2021. The Honeycomb designed Tanglin Halt Food Centre, Museum@MyQueenstown and all the shops around it are vacated, blocked and slated for demolition. Nearly all residents have moved out, making this into an empty town. What about the fate of the nine 3-storey SIT flats? Will they be demolished too? Watch this video to find out. Please wear headsets or ear buds to watch this video.

Really beautiful green grass..
Adieu Tanglin Halt. Thanks for the memories👍😢
Thanks for sharing 👍
It's sad to think of all those people uprooted from their homes. I hope they are happy in their new apartments. I guess a lot of the small businesses will not be able to find new places to trade, so the people will have lost their income as well as their homes. It's called progress, but I sometimes wonder where we are all "progressing" to. The rain was very heavy – did your umbrella keep you reasonably dry?
Beautiful place to stroll.. thanks for sharing
Wow you can feel that the energy theirs is emotional,… Sad that this is going to be torn down, yet happy of what is to come. Thanks for sharing and have a great day ☺️👍🏽
这是个非常值得我怀念的地方,同样是大牌35,由其是在这么一个雨天里倍觉伤感😔谢谢您的分享🙏
Very sad day, the earth weeps
My partner and I (she is Singaporean, I am Spanish) took a walk in the area last summer. We really liked it. The Kian Seng store showed at 4:20 is an amazing place, it takes you back to another time. It is such a pity that within a year it will not exist any more. Same with the SIT flats. They are not only history. They are beautiful too, and should be preserved.
This rainy day walk is very sentimental. Specially at an area will be rebuilding , it must be a lot of people’s memory lane. Thank you for recording history 💜🤩👍🏼
Wa wa wa nice rain walk in Tanglin Halt. Bye bye all the beautiful old buildings. I will miss you.
I always enjoy watching it because you took a great video.
I enjoyed watching your video that you took with great care today.
I'm always supporting you. My friend.
Raining eh. Having some time in Tampines.
At 17:57, Why that unit is not locked? Is it someone managed to break the lockpad or what?
I'm curious. 🤔
I like the sound of rain and birds in this video. I am sure you had a nice walk. Everything you have recorded is very nice.
14:38 Welcome to the lift filming community!
The 9 SIT – three storyed flats – already went under SERS back in 2003 – the current occupiers are tenants – owners have already been relocated to tanglin halt blk 89 to 91 back in 2003
