Tokyo, (東京 Tōkyō, ˈtoʊkioʊ) officially Tokyo Metropolis (東京都 Tōkyō-to), is one of the 47 prefectures of Japan. As of 2018, the Greater Tokyo Area ranked as the most populous metropolitan area in the world. The Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, opened in 1927, is the oldest underground metro line in East Asia. Recognized as one of the most livable cities in the world, Tokyo was tied fourth with Wellington in the 2021 Global Livability Ranking.

    The colour pallette of Tokyo Architecture across the whole city is just beautiful. I love how local laws enforce this pallete. It makes the whole city so cohesive from an aesthetic point of view. Definitely one of the most progressive cities of the world. Beautiful!

    Japan and Tokyo osaka is the most overrated and exaggerated country and cities on earth by delusional anime fans. 95% of greater Tokyo is very rural low density residential neighborhoods with sprawl worse than los Angeles. Terrible rural 2 lane streets only. Old outdated railways trains and train stations.all Japanese cities only developed in small downtown area and couple big train stations. Sprawl worse than American cities. Low density rural residential neighborhoods everywhere. 90% of cars in Japan are funny little old toy cars. Similar to scooters and motorcycles in southeast Asia. Horrible train and road system. Terrible planning. Old grey beige depressing cities.

Poor 2 lane main rural streets and old outdated above ground railways and train stations from the 1920s. Old sleepy grey town . No city can compare with greater Seoul city. Wide roads new developments and lots of stores. A true world class city
