If you are a Ghibli fan and want to do something special and a little off the beaten path, we recommend you pay a visit to this quaint little bakery. Owned by Hayao Miyazaki’s sister in law, this is the only place in the World licensed to make Totoro pastries. They specialise in Totoro shaped creampuffs.

The creampuffs are made and hand filled in situ with love and care. They are absolutely delicious and surprisingly creamy inside with a crunch on the outside.

You can buy them at the bakery to take away or you can go to the café upstairs and pair your Totoro with a nice hot drink. We opted to take away our Banana and Custard Totoros and enjoy them with a Lawson’s (cheap and delicious) hot coffee, basking in the winter sun.
