In this video, we will focus on the city of Kesennuma as part of our series dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the tsunami in Japan. The city of Kesennuma was hit very hard and devastatingly. It has long been explored from what source the sudden tsunami intensification came, and in this video we finally provide answers to these questions. The video is of an educational nature and its purpose is to complete the missing parts of the mosaic, in the complex story of the Japanese tsunami. Therefore, you will not find purposeful shots of destruction here. Thank you for watching, subscribing and ringing the bell.

Excellent video, well done!
Super well done video
Thank you it was extremely helpful
You need too sort out the misspelling of the title for this video for starters and why you donβt explain any key details about this mysterious 100 ft wave you imply is not related too the earthquake? π€
easily one of the best videos on the tsunami of 3/11/2011 I've seen.
I've seen a few things in my many years of life, yet I can say unequivocally that this Tsunami and earthquake are the most terrifying and powerful things I have ever seen, hands down.
someone once explained that the tsunami was not accurately portrayed as just a wave, but more like the country of Japan had sunk several feet lower than the ocean.
i know that is obviously not accurate, yet it's more easy to understand the effects of the great wave this way.
thank you, be well.

Very nice presentation. The resilience in your countryman and love of country is noble!
Brilliant
I couldn't imagine the horror those poor people felt when they seen that wave .
My friend Lou Sassle said he saw one once with his other friend Lou Skunt
Why is the city being rebuilt in the same place, what about future tsunamis. The government needs to think about it.
Climate change is going to do severe damage in future. Be prepared.
I donβt believe that wave was 100 feet high or 30 meters.
Never seen such a good explanation.
I know its off topic but seeing the construction of the new city reminded me of a video I saw 2 years or so after 3/11. There were people picking up plastic stuff, bottles buoys, bits of boats etc and bits of wood easily identified as parts of houses that were easily seen to have been from Japan and the Tsunami. There was a lot of it on beaches, coves, up line of rivers etc. The most strange thing about it was this was in Alaska! The debris floated around in the open sea and the currents pushed it all the way up there! I wonder where else in the world the debris landed?
Maybe it was combined with an underwater landslide
Tsunami is biggest slap to those in india those who get attracted to sea facing houses and forcefully enroaching sea and reclaiming land in the name of development, though arabian sea is not prone to earthquake and monster waves
Mother natures fury is humongous and unavoidable
Everything is good only the person who talk.
I have seen plenty of Tsunami videos from that day in 2011. And I must say, that you Sir, did an amazing job of showing us exactly where certain videos had been filmed…
I hope and pray that Japan never ever has to go through another Devastating Earthquake and then Destructive Tsunami…ππ
God Bless All Of The People of Japan!!
Even now sending them all positive thoughts and vibes and lots of prayers!! ππππππ
Thank you for sharing your Information with us all!!
Really informative and it helped with putting some of the footage into context. Many thanks to you.
Did you measure this yourself?
I can't imagine how hard it is to prepare for the ocean to push it's body of fluid with out mercy onto the land before it. I'm going to say for the record that other than a mountain range in front of the cities.that are along the coast, no wall will prevent a force as great as the one in2011.
ARIVE. is not a word. Should of been ARRIVAL
That wave was enormous, and it appears to have been formed by some other undersea phenomenon besides the earthquake. One can only imagine how terrifying that day was for the citizens of Japan. Spent a year there in the mid-80's and loved the people, the culture, and their hospitality.
It's crazy it's been over 10 years and now I'm just saying some new footage again this is like the 5th or 6 video I've never seen before
I think something alot of people don't know about the footage of the tsunami's is how terrifying the waves actually were, in all footage they look quite small, especially when the footage is taken from an elevated position, but most of the waves were 10m tall and even that height is absolutely terrifying let alone a 30m wave.
Just imagine you as the average person standing at 5'10 and coming towards you is a wall of water 6x your height.
