(HD) Bamboo Airways Airbus A320-232 TC-FBH Brand New Airline Starting Up In Vietnam Ex Freebird Going On Wet Leased On Flights FH605/606 From And To (AYT) Antalya Is Seen Landing And Taxing And Taking Off On Runway 23R At (MAN) Manchester Airport (EGCC) On The 22/12/2018

Bamboo Airways is a start-up airline owned by FLC group a Vietnamese construction company. The start-up airline will be based at Quy Nhon’s Phu Cat Airport. The airline was founded in 2017 and will commence operations in late 2018 or early 2019. Its believed Bamboo Airways will serve destinations where FLC group have invested in tourism infrastructure. The company has heavily invested in several destinations plus the airline will serve some domestic routes.

The airline has ordered twenty 787-9 Dreamliners. The Boeing built aircraft have set back the Vietnamese airline a sum of $5.6 Billion USD. The 787’s will be delivered in April 2020 and the months that follow . The aircraft has Leased aircraft until Airbus and Boeing fulfill the orders.

The Aircraft which landed at Manchester International is leased from Freebird Airlines. The Turkish registered aircraft is TC-FBH. The flight (FH605) arrived from Antalya just before a Volga-Dnepr IL76. The A320 later departed to London Gatwick on a positioning flight.
