Today we’re tasting the world’s best chicken ramen in the one and only Tokyo, Japan! We’ve only been here a day and this country is living up to all expectations, we are LOVING it here! After stepping outside our first morning we immediately realized we are NOT prepared for Tokyo’s winter months, so when we stumbled upon the local Lululemon, we had to check it out! Daniel found the perfect vest to keep those vital organs warm, so he went with that! Naturally, we wanted ramen as soon as possible, so we headed right over to Kagari in Ginza to try what we heard is one of the world’s best chicken ramen…and it was! Wow, we were blown away! This most certainly won’t be our last bowl of ramen while in Japan. Afterwards we took the metro up to Sensō-ji temple and took in the beautiful culture of Japan. Thousands of people were out with umbrellas walking the shops and enjoying the afternoon. We of course had to stop to try some of the delicious foods from the vendors! We stopped by Tokyo Tower and Shibuya Crossing on our way to try our first ever Wagyu beef at Han-no-Daidokoro Bettei…PHENOMENAL! Needless to say…we’re loving Japan.

  1. Hey, so good to see you guys again! You sure are getting to try some amazing and different foods! Those candied strawberries looked delicious and so did that meat you cooked Chelle! Please continue to be safe! 🥰❤️

  2. The best ramen I ever had was on Kauai. I can only imagine how great it is in Tokyo. I was born at Tachikawa Air Base in Tokyo (military brat) in the 60s. Hopefully I can go back and visit soon.

  3. Nice!!! I love Japan 🙂 I wish you could come to Palau!!! You're only a couple of hours away!! Safe travels!!

  4. Omg!! You guys are here in Japan!(you might have left already though)
I am so grateful you are enjoying japan!
I wish I could see you guys in person, because I am here!!!!

  5. Few restaurant recommendations:

    Soup Stock Tokyo

    Mos burger

Sukiya / Matsuya / Yoshinoya (delicious beef bowls w rice)

Kani Doraku for the best crab sushi you’ll ever have

Coco Ichibanya or Gogo Curry for Japanese curry rice

    Street takoyaki

And a crepe from any of the numerous street kiosks

Japanese produce is on a whole other level. Be sure to check out the food halls in the basements of major department stores. Pick up any regular fruit (I recommend strawberries or grapes/muscat) and it will be the best you’ve ever had.

  6. You guys are going to some amazing places! I have to be honest I miss seeing Michelle’s photography spliced into the videos but still amazing video quality! Also how has traveling impacted your marriage/relationship if at all?

  7. Yummmo Ramen! I'm so jealous
One word of advice though, poking your chopsticks into your bowl as you did Dan, is very rude…just be aware of local customs. Great vid guys. Can't wait for the next installment!

  8. Welcome to Japan and I'm very glad you are having a lots of fun in this country.I hope you would discover and enjoy more awesome things in Tokyo.

  9. Wow love how you guys celebrate the senses immediately. Taste yay. You will love Japan. Are you going to an Onsen – Bath House ? Omg Chelle will love it !!! Go to an old one they are incredible . Also just in case you need hair done the Japanese are great at hair. Trains great. Ferries incredible. Cant wait to see what you guys have planned. I don’t think UTAH will ever be enough again after this journey xxx Thankyou so much for this journey ❤Kylie xxxx

  10. Sorry I am like the comment stalker. It’s so clean, so digitalised and so efficient xxx People so polite so respectful and mindful. Enjoy xxx In Japan ingredients are respected and treated with great care. Small amounts are delivered like art xx

  11. Oh wow Japan, how amazing! I hope you've had a fantastic time there, can't wait to see what else you get up to. You are getting dangerously close to my number 1 bucket list country, South Korea 👀 (partially for my love of kpop and Kdramas – hence the profile pic, but also the food and culture, I'd absolutely love to visit there). Anyway even if SK isn't next on your list I can't wait to see where else you make it to next 😍

  12. My grandson is in the Navy he has been stationed in Japan on a submarine for the past three years. He loves it there, he sends pictures once in a while. The food looks delicious. Everyone loves ramen, LOL I have never seen it with the toppings though. Good size bowl, yum

  13. Our daughter lived in Tokyo for several years and were lucky enough to go and stay with her. So I feel the joy and thrill that you are experiencing….it is a wonderful country. ❤

  14. Also living in Japan I have learned Japan has like the best and sweetest strawberries! They also have like really expensive strawberries that are said to be better!

  15. Also Japanese people are the nicest people I have ever met! I think they learn respect in school and that’s why they are like that! That’s what I’ve actually heard!

  16. Pro tip, do not stick your chopsticks into your food when not in use. It is a cultural no-no.

  17. The one mistake many people make with yakiniku is overcooking the meat. Best immediately after color changes on both sides. Don’t worry.. it’s safe in Japan. I’m glad that you’re exploring with the many different foods (and drinks) in Japan. It’s truly one of the best culinary experiences in the world. Some suggestions are tonkatsu (pork cutlet), tempura, okonomiyaki, Japanese curry (coco ichibanya), fluffy pancakes, Japanese crepes, strawberry daifuku, sushi, yakitori, etc.. Might as well try it while you’re there..

  18. Another great video that I will save to watch again later. I will be, all going well, over there later this year. So cant wait to try some of the food. At least it will be warmer when I will be there.

  19. DON'T leave your chopstick stabbed into the food when you're not using them! it's seen as rude. Instead place them to the side. Ramen looks awesome though! enjoy!

  20. If you guys go to kyoto I have an amazing place you can check out and stay and if you go to osaka I have an amazing Kushikatsu.
