Nanzo-in is a Buddhist temple in Sasaguri, Fukuoka in Japan. It is notable for its bronze statue of a reclining Buddha. The statue is 41m long, 11m high and it has around 300 tons. Nanzo-in is the main location among the 88 temples of Sasaguri pilgrimage route, one of the three famous walking pilgrimages in Japan. The surrounding of the temple is nice, full of sculptures of animals and deities. Nanzo-in temple is said to bring good luck, as the chief priest won the lottery. Because of that, tourists from all over Japan pray here for luck in various aspects of life.
