Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse and Hachiman-Zaka Slope, Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan. 27Nov21.
After the mini blizzard last night, the sky was clear in the morning. The view from the hotel balcony was stunning. We headed out after breakfast, which we bought from the convenient store last night.
Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse was a short 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel, consisting of several buildings housing shops and restaurants.

We stopped by for lunch at Hakodate BeerHall. Although it is a beer hall, the food menu was quite extensive with pasta and steak, to sushi and sashimi and everything in between. So there was an option even for picky eaters.

After a delightful seafood meal, we walked down to road to enjoy the scenery and sea breeze, although it was quite cold. Of course there are other restaurants around this area like Lucky Pierrot, which is famous in Hakodate.
We walked off our lunch climbing up Hachiman-Zaka Slope, a famous slope in Hakodate, that is picturesque.

Continuing up towards Mt Hakodate Ropeway, we passed by a few churches. As it rained earlier, we saw a rainbow from the parking lot near the ropeway, also offering a gorgeous view of the city, the mountains and the sea. We got our tickets for the ropeway and went up.
Stay tuned for the view from the top of Mount Hakodate and our Kamameshi/seafood dinner.
