Tokyo has lots of nice bridges. This one is one of my favorites.

Shinichi should be by his mother's side… 10 days of quarantine is meaningless if you don't get to see her again. If I was Shinichi, I'd be on a plane flying back to spend as much time with my mother as possible.
What a beautiful spot! I'll have to check it out sometime.
Shinichi, nice walking tour!! I heard you allude to the fact that the area where the Ali Wai canal is located is a high crime area at night. I remember that area as being quiet, but that was 34 years ago. Hope your having a great trip.
Thank you, Shinichi, for sharing your wonderful video with us.
The weather is beautiful here too, finally. I had a tornado right behind my work last week. I loved the Triton mall garden, how lovely. A great place for a picnic. We have a really cool overpass bridge here that has lights all over it and it changes colors so its like a big rainbow glowing at night. ๐๐
This is what happens to me when I am exorcising on the treadmill playing Skyrim VR. I intend to walk all the way to Markarth but then I find a cave and I spend the rest of my game play time exploring the cave and fighting skeletons. XDLOL
Walking across this bridge is amazing!! You notice the details…which always makes your walks much more interesting and informative about authentic Japanese areas/food/history.
I love your cooking videos!
Windy this spring!!
I love your walking videos, because you capture beautiful images without making us motion-sick! Hooray!
I love the cherry blossoms! I love the gardens that you find! Sakura against the blue skies…..ahhhhhhhh……the garden is a gorgeous spot amidst the city environment. Shinichi, you find us amazingly beautiful gardens on your walks. You walks are a joy!
Thank you for sharing your walk, it was relaxing and beautiful! I enjoyed watching it while at lunch ๐
What a beautiful city.
Shinichi, you are a great tour guide! Just love all your trip videos!โค๏ธโค๏ธ
That what I want to do next time I'm back walk along sumida river!!!๐๐โโ๏ธ
So beautiful! Such a lovely walk ๐
I thought for a moment that the white blossom on the tree by the river might have been apple blossom, but I think you're right – white cherry blossom. Just so pretty, though. Do you have many apple trees in Tokyo?

I looked up the Kachidoki Bridge and apparently it stopped being raised and lowered back in 1970! They're is an interesting sounding museum somewhere in the area as well where you can see the history of that bridge.
That Triton Square looks like a nice place to spend time. I love that waterfall sound. It's neat how many places there are like that in a big city like Tokyo. I think there are probably similar hidden gems like that in big cities all over the world
Looks like it is or used to be a railroad bridge maybe.
I just looked at that bridge you mentioned at the very end of your video. I couldn't find anything specific about what it is or was. On the opposite end of that bridge in Google Street View I can see a sign that probably had some info about it. The sign is on the metal fence/gate that is blocking that end of the bridge. The sign is too blurry though for me to be able to translate it.
The structures on both sides of the pylons of that bridge remind me of similar structures around the Asashio Bridge located a bit southwest of the bridge you were looking at. The Asashio Bridge looks very different otherwise though.
I've been to Triton Square before and there are a lot of nice shops inside. The ramen too is tasty.
I've only seen this bridge from the river from the river taxi from Asakusa to Hamamatsucho. And I've been to Tsukishima which is near the bridge, that's a nice are to walk as well. Have you been there?
The are around triton square looks really nice as well ๐ I want to go there one day.

Excellent video … letting me walk with you through old memories, preparing for a return trip when we can. Thanks for pointing out stores / sights / and just sharing the walk. Love when you get lost … that is my style. Keep taking us with you … enjoy when you have large block font to give us a visual hint what you are seeing.
Beautiful city, beautiful flowers, beautiful day and a beautiful, beautiful man! It doesn't get any better than this! โฅ๏ธ
Aloha Shinichi! Thank you that was beautiful! Oahu is proposing to build a bridge over the Ala Wai Canal. Waiting to see what will happen. Please take care. Aloha nou!
So nice to walk with you again, beautiful day for it .๐ When you walked over the bridge and it started to shake I had to laugh at how quickly you can walk. ๐๐
Triton mall stunning gardens those daffodils gorgeous , beautiful to take Satoshi to for lunch. IWATFF made me my and wife smile ๐ท๐ท๐ท
That bridge is probably a gas line. It looks too small for water.
This is like walking over the other bridges in NYC (not Brooklyn) nice walk you showed us Shinichi! thank you
Itโs very cool that as long as you have lived in Tokyo you still find new places you havenโt been.
What awesome walk the view is beautiful thanks for sharing and taking us l fell like there be safe and God bless you all
