⚫️ Colin, Enough about books !¡!
⚫️ I recently learned that ( not a small percentage of humanity ) suffer from 1 or 2 possible separate …. One of them is a syndrome… and the other one is just a mental state of humanity that was previously unknown.
⚫️ The mental state that makes book reading garbage for these people is that : They do NOT have an internal voice so they can’t read in their head. (This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and these people can be just as smart or smarter then people with inner voices) So their eyes just skim the words, and I guess books really suck & are horribly boring for these people !¡!
⚫️ The Syndrome is even worse, and basically makes these people cripples, invalids, and unable to even comprehend how anyone could ever read a book.
▪️ they are unable to imagine anything. ▪️ They can not produce mental images in their mind. So for example :
⚫️ A novel describes a character, describes a dragon, describes a castle, a ship, describes a situation of armies facing each other, or a castle siege, or a dog fight between ships… ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING & EVERYTHING
➖ They can not produce these images in their minds eye…
⚫️ Can you imagine that !? ⚫️ Imagine you can’t build an image of what you are reading, so it is nothing but useless and empty words.
⚫️ Worse yet, combine them…. You have no inner reading voice, and your mind can’t picture anything !! You
➖ Like seriously ; their minds can’t even produce an image of their mothers backyard, they can’t picture their own dog or cat, and on top of that they have no inner voice ….. (incidentally: when you ask them to imagine r think about their mothers backyard – they won’t mentally created an image, but may imagine a smell. )
⚫️ Very, Very weird situation. So basically it goes like this :
⚫️ Any and all authors who have ever lived on earth have ➖ Inner voice ➖ Capabilities to imagine what they are describing.
➖ I am sure there may be anomalies where one of these people tried to write a book, probably a horrible book lmao, or using copious resources from pictures /etc.
⚫️ Furthermore, it can be said that the VAST MAJORITY of humans who love/read books have both an inner monologue & the ability to imagine descriptions !!!
⚫️ I guess comics and stuff are excluded because of pictures… they may enjoy picture books,tv, movies…. They just can not enjoy books, and quite likely HATE READING BOOKS and probably can’t even understand why people would ever like reading books !!!
⚫️ Also this knowledge isn’t really widespread either… only a few videos recently came out that got moderate views, and people were absolutely SHOCKED to discover that not everyone THINKS in the same ways !!!
