WALKING THE AMALFI COAST, ITALY: This Path of the Gods hike was filmed on June 27th, 2019 starting at 10:45 AM during a beautiful hot sunny day. The hike begins at the Grotta del Biscotto about 800 meters after the trailhead in the town of Bomerano di Agerola. This is one of, if not the most beautiful hikes in Italy. Enjoy stunning views of the Amalfi Coast from 550 meters above water. 1. Absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing your experiences with the world. Truly a testament to God’s beautiful creation.

  2. Espectacular!!! Aunque un poco arriesgado por lo solitario del lugar y el esfuerzo físico que conlleva. Habría que hacerlo temprano por la mañana. No con ese calor!!!!🙄

  3. I love so many of your videos, but this may be the best one! Just an extraordinarily beautiful walk – thank you!

  4. I wonder what the upper trail through the forest is like, as it appears to me that the most frightening views are between the points where it splits and where it reconnects. Amazing as those views seem to be, I am rather unsure if I can stand them. The parts of the trail before and after, however, might be manageable for me, although I might err.

  5. Such an epic place. We were in Amalfi coast about 2 years ago and we completely missed this gem and climbed Vesuvius instead. Luckily in March we're going to Amalfi again and we DEFINITELY will take this trail

  6. Hi guys, a short question, is it safe to hike the path in March in terms of winds mud, slippery ricks and so on.. Thanks.

  7. I absolutely love your videos…I worry about you all the time I watch and what is with the assholes passing you and not letting you get by?

  8. The Amalfi region with the mountains rising up to 1350m looks very similar to the hiking trails that I have done in the Greek island of Evia along the mountains around Dirfi mountain (1800m), or in a wilder version of the trail of E4 in Crete 320km long along mountains rising 2500m straight out of the sea.

  9. Not too hard where the path is smoothed out, but perilous to stop watching your feet – those rocks & strange 'which way' parts are confusing – they should put markers on to show which way ! Can't believe how gorgeous the blue of the sea is tho ! Path of the Gods is right !

  10. And you said you walked this MORE than once ? Wow – just watching this makes me feel exhausted ! I will not be watching this a second time ! But thanks for the video – a very harrowing experience !!!

  11. Perhaps you could add, that you can also continue along the roadway which is not really that busy to Montepertuso and that you can also catch the SITA Bus down to Positano from either Nocelle or Montepertuso at certain times during the day. You would need to see the SITA Bus Schedule for that information.
I think that you doing this walk is very important. For me it would have cleared up a lot of questions of what it was like, how dangerous or not it can be. Seeing it for real is helping one understand if they can complete it or not.
Far better to figure that out from your couch at home then part way through the hike.
I could have used this in 2018 before I did the hike. It would have answered a lot of questions I had at that time. I had to base my decision on what others had said about the Hike. Trying to make decisions from others points of view is difficult. Seeing it for real solves it completely.
Stay safe and continue making these great videos. 🙂 They work both for pleasure to watch and for understanding the Hikes.

  12. Wonderful video. We will be traveling there in September 2023. Your videos have been extremely informative and helpful. Did you just walk to the trailhead from Amalfi? How do you suggest we get back to Amalfi, are there busses that run throughout the day? How many miles was the hike you did?
