Hong Kong. A city that most know for international finance, movies, and good food. Perhaps lesser known is Hong Kong’s association with the Triads, one of the world’s most infamous criminal organizations. Possessing one of the biggest ports in Asia, as well as a border with mainland China, Hong Kong has always been an ideal smuggling location.

On this day I would go exploring in Yuen Long, a district that became famous for Triads after some recent events. I would be joined by a threatening looking local who would take me to explore the neighborhood, finding cultural oddities such as deer viagra and criminal mahjong parlors along the way.

Later, I’d also check out the lower class neighborhoods of Kowloon, and learn the spot to Fook Long.

  1. Happy Chinese New Year 🧧!

I chose to put no promotions on this one, keeping it focused on the Triad experience. If you appreciate the videos though consider checking out my Patreon. See you in the next and final video from Hong Kong.

  2. Been viewing your channel for the last few weeks and found that you are multi lingual.. out of curiosity do you speak Malay or Bahasa Indonesia? Or you can learn by coming over to Malaysia lol 😆

  3. I think you went to the wrong place, and that's why you didn't see any of the traid gangsters. If you wanna meet some real gangsters, check out the popo stations and you'll definitely find one with a triad license(warrant card).

  4. Tommy, you are absolutely incredible. You are a magnet for your followers. It's about time I helped out, as no one comes close to your channel. Thank you, sir.

  5. Hong Kong ( Central and Kowloon) very enjoyable! LKF and Wanchai night spots. Victoria Harbour, Malls, Dining Out great! Visiting the many University's in the City of HK, HK University, Star Ferry the light show across the Harbour unbelievable Seafood Market. Depending on what time of year you go very hot! Many changes since a few years back.

  6. Very safe Hong Kong as a city. I used to walk the streets of Mongkok and Prince Edward without any problems Unfortunately, in 2019 things turned drastically!

  7. Where are you from anyway? You have just a slight inflection in your English that I cannot pinpoint.

  8. Yuen Long may be the main turf of the south east asian and the african gangs. (Many came in as asylum seeker) Asking a Chinese to show you the gang world in Yuen Long, is like asking a Chinese to show you the gang world in Bronx.
Key areas of the local gangs are still in down town such as Mong Kok, TST and Wan Chai, where the night life is.

  9. I'm born and raised in HK for 20 years and had never been to Yuen Long once. HK has changed a lot recently years, but glad to see foreign travelers coming to explore until it's forever vanished years later. Mad respect for your videos and keep up the work🙏

  10. Selina is very polite and helpful. However, I think she thinks you are strange. She seems to have the patience of Job.

  11. Much of that Chinese medicine is used as an aid to virility. Kind of a dumb move asking Selina, on camera.

  12. You can't film gambling, Dude! And you say you know HK? Mahjong is a form of gambling Dude!

  13. Hey Tommy, I wouldn’t sleep on those deer antlers. They must do something. A bunch of professional athletes in the U.S. got in trouble for using that stuff.

  14. It's good you can understand mandarin and some cantonese – props to you. Just don't go looking for trouble in HK. Some of the places/establishments you visit is proper dodgy as hell.

  15. i dont know if you joking or you think because it clickbait because this is the second video that don't show content of title so never again watch your video

  16. Yuen Long Kai Dei 元朗 雞地 where 721 was sprouted and burst – one of the darkest nights in modern HK history
