  1. 10 mins away from me… Cool. Edit. There is a nice pub just across that field where you moored.
    The Tap House..

  2. 1:50 I've just started watching. I've already hit the like button. I can hardly wait for the Pub of the Whenever I F$%^ing Want.

  3. So how much (£££) is a new barge pole of your required length? Our mum used to call days like today, Dirty Water Days. When as a small child i'd ask what she meant, she said, "God gets up every day and paints a new sky for us to all look at. You know what the water gets like when you've finished painting? Well thats what happens with the sky, he didn't change his water, so we get dirty water only skies". I know that may not be so, but now sometimes i laugh at those fond memories of my mum.

  4. I keep missing these live, but then I am on the wrong side of The Pond. I enjoy watching the lock process, I rarely get to see it in real time, it's very satisfying. Most channels have edited it down or sped up the footage. The advantage of a livestream. Speaking of, I didn't see the comment stream up, so I assume this was streamed on another platform? Which one?

  5. Be worth you walking to the road bridge Robbie check ice condition on canal as its basically 90* degree turn there onto the river, can be difficult turning. Stay safe

  6. I thought the locks on rivers were there to bypass the weirs where the rivers drop their levels. You could test the temperature of the water and chill us all at the thought of you voluntarily putting your bare hands in the chilly stuff.

  7. I am a newer I wish you show us new be from start to finish how you work locks wot you do first xafter you gone through lock

  8. Lovely to see you in the neighbourhood. Though Kegworth is in my home County of Leicestershire rather than Derbyshire. Its one of those cases of a misleading post code. 😉

  9. @Robbie actually I am drinking a lovely cup of tea while watching you. So wish I could be there chugging along with you!!!

  10. I am through the wonders of science, watching you on tv, via my tablet, via a satellite about five miles up, beamed from whatever you are catching it on. Stay safe, keep on keeping on.🍺🍻🥂⛴

  11. Had my first boat on the river Soar, looonnnngggg time ago, was great to cruise up to Kegworth and moor up outside The Otter pub

  12. An old stomping ground of mine. Lovely river and surrounding countryside. Get out your fishing rod!

  13. Loved the journey today Robbie. The reflections on the water and the pastel sky, just gorgeous photography. Thanks for the beautiful views. Stay warm.

  14. "You know, I take it places…it goes places!"
I am totally going to use this when someone notices that I've scraped up my car's hubcaps again. LOL

  15. I fish that stretch of the Soar. Its quite nice: By the Way Kegworth is in North West Leicestershire. Take no notice of post codes:

  16. I have seen adverts for prop shaft mounted weed cutters – have you heard if they work ? Cheers 😎

  17. Only ever driven through Kegworth but its nice to see a different side to it, also on the river soar that is an area and villages around where my ancestors came from so again lovely seeing the surroundings, always enjoy watching your videos and your canal boat diaries when they are televised. Never been on a canal but absolutely love watching everybodys view of this lovely countryside! keep on cranking!
