🔴 Take a leisurely walk in Japan. Sapporo is in Hokkaido. Near Sapporo Station, “Sapporo Underground Town Pole Town” spreads out, and you can take a warm walk even in winter. There are lots of cute shops such as character goods, fashionable fashion, coffee shops, general stores, restaurants, etc.

What a handsome neighborhood with contemporary buildings and plenty of shopping. The train station mall early in the walk was particularly well-designed and the flooring was beautiful. There is no supply-chain issues in Japan like here – the stores were all well-stocked, no empty shelves, with amazing selections, that always impresses me about retail over there the selection….makes me want to go there with a full wallet and shop, shop, and more shop! 😆 I really liked this walk. By the way, is Ko Ko Min a drug store like Lawson’s or is it more like 7-11? Thank you, as always.
Also, I thought it was cute when the lady in the red, polka dot smock tried to engage you! 🤣

43:02 Odori Subway Station (This underground passage spans three stations. Sapporo, Odori and Susukino)
43:44 Go east through Aurora Town (underground shopping mall)
50:26 Back in Aurora Town to Sapporo Underground Pedestrian Space
54:38 Go south again through Underground Pedestrian Space
56:54 Go south through Pole Town (underground shopping mall connected to Susukino Station)
1:00:56 to Tanuki-koji shopping Arcade (one of the oldest shopping street in Hokkaido)
1:01:53 Intersection of Ekimae street and Tanuki-koji
Above ground is cold in winter, so many people prefer to walk underground.
