Tarapith

Tarapith is famous all over the country as the place of power of Tara. It situated in the village of Chandipur, 9 km from Rampurhat railway station in West Bengal. Here Bamakhepa had pleased Mother Tara with her sadhana and it is believed that Bamakhepa had a direct talk with Ma Tara. With the passage of time, Tarapith has developed and today people from all over the country and abroad reach here. The cremation ground here is a place of accomplishment for the tantriks. Where Tantriks and Aghoris reside. It is believed that in the court of Mother Tara, the wishes of those who seek vows are fulfilled.
