We are a family of 5 travelling Australia indefinitely in our new Lotus Caravan and our 2021 F350 from Harrison F-Trucks. We will take you to many destinations and let you know what works for us and what doesn’t, so you don’t make the same mistakes.

We are from Perth Western Australia and want to see as many destinations as we can together as a family, we never take the easy road and if we see a track, we always wonder where it will lead us, so we generally take it to see where it leads.

Thanks for watching and reading if you have made it this far down, hope you enjoyed.

  1. Morale of the story make sure you fight the insurance company decisions. They take chances. Glad to hear you coming right would be tragic to write the ford off.

  2. Guy’s I take my hat off to you and your family. I pray your son and your wife gets stronger and get stronger and better as sooner as possible. I truely appreciate how completely frank and honest.

  3. Over the moon for you both, crazy story. I’m interested in getting a snorkel for my f250 2019, any help would be great. I’m in Sydney but willing to travel. I am the same as you, nothing crazy planned but now I need one.
    Great content

  4. HOLLY DOOLEY! I need a beer after watching those 2 episodes! You could nearly make a movie out of that! Glad you guys are on the other side. Thankyou for sharing your story.

  5. It’s good to hear after all the time & investment, you don’t have to start over again. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer so you can start your journey again. Glad your son is on the road to recovery. Best wishes to you guys & your family ❤

  6. Congratulations guys. Best news ever to get the new engine and have this sorted out. I'm in Port Hedland and would have loved to catch up with you both when you was in the Pilbara. Best of luck with rest of your travels….

  7. G'day guys, I've been following your channel for the past year or so and I just watched your last 2 eps back to back and what a roller-coaster of emotion. Great to hear that almost everything is back on track and heading in a positive direction in both health "most importantly", and of course the truck.
We are a family of 4 and are considering a lap next year, maybe for an episode idea you could do one that covers starting out, planning, budgeting, the do's and don'ts, what to take and not to take, all the things you need to know about doing a lap for a year. Cheers guys, good luck with everything and I look forward to many more great episodes in 2023 and beyond. 👍

  8. Bloody awesome that the car is going to be alright, really shit with the medical drama's and hope it all pan's out for the better. Looking forward to seeing another episode, get onto that snorkel when you can, Cheers Guys, Dags.

  9. I'm confused. You said you disputed the insurance company after getting advice from people after they watched last weeks episode but you have had a new motor for 8 weeks?

  10. That’s great that things are coming back to normal but are you going to put a snorkel on it this time may I also great car.

  11. What a shit 6 months or so but with positive outcomes in the end. My wife and I bought a 350 due in part to your channel. Love to know where your getting the snorkel from as I need it. Good luck

  12. This really highlights why not to buy an import and convert American truck! Just but from factory supported dealers!

  13. Shoulda got a Toyota, blah blah. Fords are crap, blah blah. American cars rattle to pieces, blah blah. It’s a frickin monster truck, big smile, discussion over.

  14. glad every thing is good medical wise but watching this reminded me of a old comedy routine years gone by so i found it on youtube its called thats good thats bad by archie cambell im sure you guys will get a laugh out of it and relate

  15. Damn you guys have been put through the ringer. Must be a strong family to be able to go through all that stress and unknowing of what is going to happen with the kids and the F350. I hope you guys can get back to some normality and keep up your amazing travels.

  16. So glad you guys got it all sorted. So sorry to hear about the rough patch of health. If you had the C19 jabs you can get compensation for adverse reactions, I have heard alot of people have had the same side effects. It ses life is just a constant fight with beaurocrats these days. I wish your family good health and safe travels

  17. So happy to hear you're over these hurdles and now with the 4WD soon to hit the road again, you'll have the vehicle to just sail over any future bumps without even feeling them. 🙂

  18. That's a fantastic end result eh! Great that you get to keep that beast. The one you know and love! Sometimes it's also 'better the devil you know' too. We've learnt that one over the times. Hope it all goes smoothly for hitting the road again. Family healthy, new van on the way, car nearly a go,, and another big one – gratefulness. So happy for where you are at now guys.

  19. Wow 😮😉👍 so happy for you guys 👏👏👏 yes always question the insurance company. Any way on your snorkel 👍, and the bull bar 🤙( that’s a wobbly hand ) think your probably better off as you are, as your truck is fairly high , just go for a solid bumper. If you look at bullbars ( particularly Toyota) they are war too close to every part of the vehicle. If you hit a roo you basically wipe out your bonnet grill radiator , fan left and right mud guard head lights. If you didn’t have a bar you’ll probably only wipe out grill , radiator , and fan 🤷‍♂️ think it over 😉👍

  20. You guys have had such a bad start with the big F truck. No fault of yours or the truck mind you. Just a bad set of circumstances. Who was to know about a bad bunch of axles, and Murphy said one of that batch (at least) would end up in your hands. But now with the time out of the trip to fix the axle, and this engine issue as the follow up, what a damn shame. I was relieved to hear Part 2 where the F truck gets a new heart and you guys continue the adventure. The wife and I are a bit older, but we are building an Overland Raptor in the shed right now and will head out next year with it. Solo vehicle with no van or camper so pretty much non limited to where we are going to venture. Good luck to you all and we may just see you in the bush someday.

  21. That’s so bloody guys! What a whirlwind of emotions! Soon enough you’ll be back to Lappin the Island 🤙🏽 Luck you guys were in Perth and got the treatment needed! That engine issue was a blessing in disguise in the big picture! Big hugs from the East Coast! 🤗

  22. I look forward to seeing more of the Ford. Bill Hewitt, down in the states, specializes in keeping powerstrokes running. He may have something of value you can use: powerstrokehelp.

  23. Two 30 min videos of yous sitting down talking gibberish.. get to the point. Amateurs on every level
