Hartford, Connecticut is the capital city of Connecticut, and it offers plenty of things to do for visitors and locals alike. I spend a day in the beautiful city of Hartford and explore many great spots including the Connecticut State Capitol, the Old State House (the state capitol before the current one was built), Bushnell Park, and Elizabeth Park as well as see where Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe once lived (they were both neighbors at one point).

Hartford also has some great places to eat including (but not limited to) MM’s Gyros & Spuds for tasty gyros and Ichiban Japanese & Korean for some authentic Japanese and Korean cuisine.

  1. Nice that you visited Hartford! I enjoyed the Connecticut River and food parts! And I ate Burger King! Did you film any freeway vids in Hartford? BTW, you should check out Virtual Riot & Lektrique – Neon Angel!

  2. The Wadsworth Atheneum is the finest small art museum in the United States and absolutely worth the visit.

  3. Nice my aunt works in Hartford with the state of Connecticut but live an hour away. I was there the weekend of August 14 this year.

  4. Enjoyed this video very much since I’ve never been to Hartford before and only saw it in passing on my way to other places. I really want to visit the Mark Twain house and Harriet Beecher Stowe’s home, also, although I’m not fond of city driving . Was it difficult to drive to those homes and was parking there easy to find ? Anyway, thanks for exploring a new city that I’ve never been to before and thanks for the cool video !

  5. I live in a suburb of Bridgeport CT, but have been to Hartford many times! This, and not Bridgeport should be CT’s biggest city. They should fix up the hoody areas.

  6. Cool video! From CT so I’ve been to Hartford many times. Good to see info on places I’ve never been to before.

  7. I grew up about 2 blocks uphill from Bushnell Park and went to high school next door to the Mark Twain House
