Take a walk in Kurashiki Mt. Washu, Okayama

Mt Washu is located in Shimotsuitanoura, Kurashiki district, Okayama Prefecture.
It is known as a representative scenic spot of “Setonaikai National Park” which was designated as the first national park in Japan.
The mountain is famous for its view of islands and the Seto Ohashi Bridge in the Seto Inland Sea.Even Nanba Tendo, a haiku poet, claims: ‘I want the whole mountain as a souvenir.’
From the peak of Mt Washu, there is a splendid view of scattered islands among silent waves and the magnificent Seto Ohashi Bridge.
With a total length of about 12km and a main tower height of about 200m, it is a very huge and vast bridge, and it is recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest railway and road bridge in the world.
