You may have seen videos online interviewing foreigners about being Black in either Japan or South Korea but I barely see videos about being black in Indonesia. In this video, I share my experience as a Black British male who had previously lived in America and travelled extensively across Asia.

I can tell you for sure being black in Indonesia is way better than being black in America or the UK. This is my honest journey across the island of JAVA, Indonesia. The people of Indonesia are one of the most friendliest I’ve ever met and its street food are just amazing.

Being Black in Indonesia is BETTER than in America…BLACK man in Asia trying DURIAN 💨

  2. The Asia Africa street came from Asia-Africa conference in 18 – 24 April 1955. Which was took place in Bandung.

  3. Rules number 1 in here. When you talk shit about government they literally would knock yo door and put u in jail. This land is free until the government include.

  4. Pokok sopan aja di indonesia
Orang indonesia ramah tapi kalau sudah marah ya lihat saja hahahhaahhaa

  5. yeah because Indonesia found out that they are strongest when they're unite in diversity, there's no case in Indonesia history where they can going pass through the obstacles when they only fight for their own race or ethnicity's. meanwhile in western world especially in anglophone sphere they always connect everything to the race and ethnicity without solving the real problem

  6. if you're Black but from other country, u'll not have any discrimination.. but if u black, from Papua… then u will know.. things different from foreigner…

  7. The fact that this nation is friendlier than the nation that acts like it's most just tells us about how they act enough…

  8. We dont do racist here maybe we do to chinese&black ppl but it just word never do any physical abuse like "Hey open u eyes" "If black ppl speak only teeth that u can saw" And somethimes we just afraid with Black ppl and Envy with chinese that's why i think that's the reason why ppl being racist

  9. Do not feel stranger while being black In Indonesia, you can say you're from eastern Indonesia if you learn enough eastern Indonesian dialect plus it will save you from tourist price tag, no one will notice it trust me 🙂

  10. You put indian background music🤣that's honestly really weird for us..we are not indian😃western people also call indigenous American is red indian, like what??its because some of us got tan skin then we automatically are Indian🤣🤣..btw I love ur video..cheers

  11. Still, my mom often use the N word casually with absolute zero racism intent. Example: "Who's the actor again? The N***o one?"

  12. Racisms stops when you stop talking about it. The problem with America is that they always put labels to people, Italian-american, Asian-American. Why not just call it American? if you are an American citizen, then you are just American.

  13. Indonesian people won't be racist to foreigner either you black, white, dark brown, even ex-colonial dutch, (except chinese << I'll explain why). It's because they're too busy racialy profiling among themself, that's include the chinese minority.

  14. well, javanese is descended from austronesian, that mixed with a lot of other ethnicities since a long long time ago, so technically, we are also black 🫠

  15. Welcome to The Jungle of Indonesia. Semoga betah & nyaman di pulau-pulau yg dikunjungi di seluruh Indonesia beserta keragaman rakyatnya.🌙🕋☀️

  16. As long as you didnt live in the west there wont be such thing as racism… People are busy too think about their ownself and how to get money for tomorrow

  17. If some indonesian call you a negr*, trust me 100% they doesn't mean to insult or disrespect you
Some of us don't know what a polite word to call people by their races

  18. Next time you have to go to Maluku, Flores and Papua. You Will surprise there are black Indonesian too.
In Jakarta they also live mix with other tribes that have light skin, and That's no problem.
I am also mix black Indonesian. Maluku is my father tribe 🤗

  19. Let me guess before watching the entire thing.
Cuz no one care what are you, who are you. Right? 😂
    SALAM JANCUK BANG

  20. I mean, you can't really compare US with other country. it's truly the shithole of the world.

thats said, the only thing that makes us "looks" racist, is the fact that we never really seen truly black person, so people might get surprised or curious about it. I still remember the day I saw actual african person (he's footballer in my local club), I didnt expect he's THAT black and just mesmerized for few seconds
