Yaowarat Road is also famous for its Chinese New Year celebration which has always been lively, decored with lights and red Chinese-style lanterns, and packed with visitors as well as street food vendors. There are usually shows and performances throughout the day. Chinese shrines in the area also fill with visitors in red costumes, especially Thai-Chinese people who come to pray for luck and wealth.

Unfortunately , there was NO CNY parade in the Netherlands this year, which is a pity given the number of Chinese residents in the country! 🥺😭

I had to pay 500 baht for a tuktuk with a short distance from Wat Pho to Evergreen hotel on the 1st day of Chinese new year of the rabbit.
It's amazing to see the Thais celebrating and getting into the
