I know who I'd hire as a guide if I had plans for a winter break in Japan! Glad you do guiding in summer too – I'll know where to find you sometime in the next few years!
Snow or no snow, mountains or valleys, on the trails, I would hire you as a guide in a heartbeat. Your love for those places and the joy you show speaking of those places in Tohoku are the best reference anyone could ask for๐
Amazing showcase. The "snow monsters" really capture the imagination.
Thanks to all your videos I'm visited spot 1 in two weeks and I cannot wait!
What a beautiful review.. Good Luck for 2023
Takk!
Danke!
The only issue I would have with going winter hiking in japan is the amount of stuff I would have to bring with me to Japan to have a warm safe hike
Such stunning scenes โ so hoping this is indeed the year I can return to Japan!
Snow monsters = mountain tempura
As soon as I have the money I will be there. Thanks.
Beautiful snowy vistas. Would be fun to build an igloo or snow hut in the middle of the snow monsters and spend a night.
Thank you for sharing those beautiful spots, I hope to one day hike one with you.
Q dawg ! Huzzah ! Raise a cheer ! Take us to snow land baby ! Still love my go north hoodie !!
The problem for me is I'd want to do all of those hikes and just wouldn't have the time to do so on a single trip!๐ They all look amazing. I have to say though as someone not very experienced with mountains, the nanataki falls hike looks like a great intro and there is something about the frozen falls that seems so special and magical. The fact that you help people get in touch with the local culture is such an added bonus. I have no idea when I might be able to, but I really hope to hire you as a guide around some of those amazing places. In the meantime I don't hesitate to mention you to anyone who is planning a trip to Japan.
