Lake Powell-Glen Canyon, USA [Amazing Places 4K]



Lake Powell at its lowest level in 14 years, uncovering more of the beautiful Glen Canyon.
Glen Canyon is a Canyon on Colorado River, considered one of the most beautiful canyons in the World before it was converted to lake Powell by building the Glen Canyon Dam. The Grand Canyon starts only several miles down the river.

In the video: Meditative boat trip along Lake Powell and its side canyons, with views from: above the lake from Page and from Hole in the Rock, Iceberg Canyon, Escalante River, Clear Creek Canyon, Reflection Canyon, Dangling Rope Marina, Forbidding Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, Cathedral in the Desert, Lake Canyon, Bullfrog Marina, Reflection Canyon from the hiking trail viewpoint.

Recorded April 20-22 2019 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX700 and DJI Osmo Pocket (and couple of shots from October 2016 with Sony AX100).

    Federal government used lake Powell to control water and the Navajo nation, lowered water to destroy the Marina in the San Juan, Navajo people fought back and built antelope canyon marina, full service and the best of the marinas at lake Powell

    Fantastické video. Některé záběry krajiny mi přijdou až neskutečné, že takové útvary a monumenty mohli v přírodě vzniknout. Určitě se k tomuto videu mockrát vrátím, protože jsem se nemohla vynadívat na všechny barvy a tóny v přírodě. Škoda že dnešní technika neumí přenést vůně a vzduch z dané krajiny. Ráda bych se nadechla zdejšího vzduchu, ucítila horkost slunečních paprsků.. To by bylo super

    5:42 Nice views in Reflection with the water low enough that you had to go completely around the S-curves (19:18). I've never seen it low enough for that. Smooth water, no one else on the lake (8:00). Must have been winter (7:12). Nice photography! Geez I LOVE that place.

    When I watch this beautiful video I see how low the water level has fallen. It makes me sad to see this lake fading away. Hope for lots of snow this winter. Gods creations are so amazing.

    let's talk about the real reason lake powell is so low. they are dumping water from the canyon to create hydroelectric power while shutting down fossil fuel electrical generation. in otherwords they are using a fake climate crisis to create a real water crisis. pay attention to what they are doing and put a stop to it people.
