I'd say South Asia in general is a good place for those who love food. I am from Bangladesh 🇧🇩, so I know. We Bangladeshis tend to be foodies ourselves.

How was Singapore left off this list?!?! Singapore hawker culture was recently recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage. There are over 13,500 hawker (food) stalls in Singapore, which is pretty impressive considering the country is roughly half the size of Rhode Island. Even more impressive you can get a dish from a Michelin Star rated stall for around $7 USD.
