Excellent video! Exactly the information a visitor needs. Thanks.
SUPER helpful!! Arigatōgozaimashita!
How will travelling between non JR stations and JR stations work with the JR pass? For example, I want to travel from Odai Station (non JR) to Tokyo Station (JR). When I transfer at Machiya Station (JR and non JR) do I exit with my ticket and enter again with my JR pass?
Damn should watched it earlier

How do you know what direction the train is going?
Good information! Question. I downloaded the app and see package or tourist passes. I simply want to travel by train from Narita to Nagano.
how may I do this?
Hi Does the Japan Rail Pass (7 days) include the Narita Express train?
So glad I found you! Thank you for the detailed information! This is exactly what I need for upcoming trip to Japan.

Im going back to Tokyo this year and being stuck in my country for 2 years, I need some review again.
You just gained a new subscriber. Much love and support from the Philippines. Arigato!
When my trip to the destination involve two different train operators, do I need to buy separate tickets in two different ticket machines at the departure station?? For example, departure from Rinku-town (りんくうタウン) to 烏丸 (Karasuma) requires 1) JR 関西空港線関空快速(京橋行) and then 2) 阪急京都線特急(京都河原町行) (Hankyu-Kyoto Line Limited Express (For Kyoto-Kawaramachi)). At Rickhu-town, do I need to use two different ticket machines to buy them based on JR 関西 and 阪急? Thanks
Is it possible to purchase tickets for a different departure station than the one you're at? I'm trying to figure out purchasing tickets for Shin-Osaka -> Nagoya -> Takayama, and I'd like to purchase tickets for Nagoya->Takayama while I'm in Shin-Osaka if that makes sense
Very informative and useful as I will be going to Japan this coming March. Thank you.
thank you so much!! very helpful!
Just visited Japan Jan 11 to 17. I wish I watch your video before I went I probably save up money than what I spent during my 7 days stays.
My question is … will JR card accept at Keikyu Line Trains?
