Welcome to another trip report! Today, we’re turning back time to March 2022, less than 1 year ago but oh how things were very different than they are today. Join me on this trip from Los Angeles to Toronto where we’ll talk COVID-19 testing for travel, the Maple Leaf Lounge at Los Angeles LAX, and Air Canada Economy Class onboard the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
What was the service like during the pandemic, and how was the experience overall? Stayed tuned to find out!

Ill be flying one of these from Toronto to Calgary soon! Im excited!
Can't believe AC has 787s that are already 7 yrs old!
This has to be the most through flight reviews I have ever seen on this forum. Regarding your remark about US Customs checking passports of travellers on the jetway or jet bridge prior to boarding. I have never heard of Customs checking out bound flights before here in North America. Do you know why they were doing that?
Thanks
Thanks sir.i like canada
Personally think AC's 787's have a fantastic product. They were well ahead of their time when introduced and the product has stood up well over the years. With newer -9's set to join the fleet, it will be interesting if they end up getting the larger IFE's that have been going into the a330's. This would be a great chance to "refresh" the 787 fleet at AC to help compliment an evolving uniform cabin. Seeing that Boeing is hinting at a 787-10 ER, this could be a jet I see AC end up taking a look at down the road to replace their older A330's and maybe even the 777-200LR's (could be a great freighter for AC)
