Trivia: To be honest, I prefer Shinkansen. Flights can be delayed frequently and if I can get onboard at Haneda Airport, it’s OK. But going to Narita Airport is a lot of hassle from where I live. I wish JR can lower the fare then I would definitely choose Shinkansen!

Great tour! Kansai airport is a great piece of engineering. When I visited Japan I also did the route from Tokyo to Osaka several times but always on Shinkansen because I had a Japan Rail pass, although I would have liked to take a plane and visit the airport.
