Ikebukuro’s a main area of Tokyo – here’s a guide to things to do there, what it’s like, places to eat and whether it’s a good place to stay.

MY JAPAN GUIDEBOOK: https://www.cakeswithfaces.co.uk/product/japan-travel-guide-book/

The centre of Ikebukuro is Sunshine City, a huge shopping mall. As well as lots of shops and restaurants, there are several tourist attractions: a planetarium (Konica Minolta Manten Planetarium), an aquarium, Namja Town and the Sky Circus. There’s also the Pokemon Centre and the largest gachapon store in the world! The video also covers a few less well known things to do (for your second or third trip!), like Zoshigaya and the Tokyo Sakura Tram, as well as a few places to eat in Ikebukuro and theme cafes.

it was the superb cultural shock , its full of contradictions
ikebukuro has a certain vibe to it . its busy , its loud and a bit chaotic or hectic and a bit more "dirty
but its lovely and charming , very open and almost welcoming at the same time – hehe explain that :!
